Considered an upscale neighborhood with strong roots, it’s not uncommon for people in Laurelhurst to continue living in this same neighborhood that they grew up in. There is a strong pride of ownership in this community, and it’s known for its well-kept lawns, views, schools, and beautiful streets. The residents are primarily professional, with a concentration of doctors, lawyers, and other high-income earners. A popular place for residents is the private, waterfront park they simply call “the Beach Club,” which is located on a peninsula jutting out into Lake Washington.
